Rome, 1980. Italy is sunken into an extra-parlamentary war between right and left.
Valerio Verbano, 18 years old, was part of Autonomia Operaia leftist movement. His passion for fighting and photographing brought him to create a detailed register of ultra-right activists from the country’s capital, and especially his neighborhood il Tufello.
The armed group NAR made sure he didn’t continue. Three of its members entered the flat where he lived with guns and killed him in front of his family.
Last Saturday 20th February in Rome, the annual demonstration took place as for 36 years now, to commemorate Valerio and make sure his name is not forgotten.
