El passat dijous 15 d'abril unes 1500 treballadores de Telefónica-Movistar, en vaga total i indefinida en tot l’Estat espanyol des del 28 de març es van concentrar davant del Parlament de Catalunya, seguit d’una manifestació pels principals carrers de Barcelona per protestar contra la constant precarització de la seva feina per part de la companyia, una de les empreses més poderoses de l’estat. Recordem que Movistar té uns beneficis superiors a 4000 milions d'euros l'any i que té molts treballadors en unes condicions precàries, fent jornades de 10h a 00h amb contractes de 2h.
La manifestació ha recorregut els carrers de Barcelona amb les ànims molt encesos malgrat la pluja. Finalment han tallat la Gran Via durant una minuts i han anunciat noves mobilitzacions.
El personal autònom de subcontractes i contractes de Telefonica-Movistar fa vaga indefinida i autorganitzada per les treballadores a través de les noves tecnologies i seguida de prop pels sindicats CoBas, CGT y AST, sense comptar gaire amb els majoritaris CC.OO i UGT.

On 15th April, about 1500 Telefonica-Movistar workers gathered in front of the Catalan Parliament. They are on complete and indefinite strike since 28th march. The protest meeting was followed by a demonstration through the main streets in Barcelona, as a protest against the constant grow of precariousness in their jobs, although the company is one of the most powerful ones in the State. Movistar benefits ara more than 4000 milion euros per year and many of its employees are working under precarious conditions, as they work from 10h to 00h though their contract says their work just 2h.
The demonstration has gone through Barcelona streets in intense, burning spirits in spite of the rain. Eventually people has cut off the circulation in Gran Via street for some minutes and they have announced future actions and protests.
The autonomous workers from Telefonica-Movistar subcontracts and contracts are on indefinite strike. This strike is self-organized by the workers by means of new technologies, although it is followed by the unions CoBas, CGT and AST, without much support from the main CCOO and UGT.
